Love stories Inspired by Nature

- Who is that chap with the mustache?

Things I like: northern lights, neverending summers in Lofoten, mountains, Amelié, Wes Anderson, pastel colours, Yann Tiersen, coffee table books à la Kinfolk, Bon Iver, books in paperback, vinyls, polaroids, Erlend Loe, botanical gardens, The Sims - to mention a few things.

The moment I leave Lofoten and the dear north, I immediately shed a tear. As soon as I get connection to the internet, you’ll see me posting a picture on Instagram, expressing my deep yearning. Well, when I think about it, this is something I tend to do all year long.

I’ve lived in Scarborough in England, Oslo, Kristiansand, and at the moment I’m based in Trondheim - where I study .. photography, surprisingly enough.

My natural habitat tends to be: coffee shops, libraries, and Lofoten. When I’m not sighted in these areas, you might find me at home, doing some of the following activities: playing the same Yann Tiersen melody I’ve been playing for years on end, daydreaming of my perfect life in The Sims, or reading a book of Loe or Saabye Christensen.

I’m a sucker for indie films, and some of my favourite films include: Submarine, Amelié, 500 Days of Summer, Her, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Lobster, aaand everything by Wes Anderson. Music is of course an essential part of my life, where my all time faves would be Bon Iver, The XX, James Blake, and Frank Ocean. I've also attached one of my playlists on Spotify here, full of indie and norwegian songs! If you have some of the films and artist mentioned at heart, I think we’ll become the best of friends in no time.

Being a wedding photographer couldn't be any more perfect for me. I’ve been obsessed with the concept of love since the day of dawn. Yes, I am a hopeless romantic, and yes, I will most likely cry at your wedding. If not, I can guarantee you that my wells of tears will go off when I edit the pictures.

I have to admit that writing is not my strongest trait. I’ve always been the type of person who expresses myself best visually. And that’s exactly what I’m so lucky to work with: telling love stories through my lens.

So take my hand, and let us embark on a journey.
